The Role:
The Director of Summer Programs is responsible for guiding students and families towards their academic and/or cultural goals through American summer programs. The Director supervises a team of educational consultants through every step of the program selection and application process and oversees all behind-the-scenes operations. Specific duties include the following:

Managing educational consultants to ensure that students meet deadlines and target goals.

Identifying summer programs to address individual students’ needs and interests

Coordinating with the Director of Education to ensure that summer program(s) match students’ broader educational and admissions goals.

Providing as-needed support to educational consultants during the application process.

Communicating with parents and building relationships with summer program contacts.

Guiding parents through program selection and admissions process with clear timelines
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

5+ years of demonstrated managerial experience

Availability 10-15 hours/week year round, with ability to work 25+ hours/week November-June

High (C1) proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate degree

High (C1) proficiency in Chinese, Russian, Spanish or Ukrainian

5-10 years of demonstrated managerial experience

Educational consulting and/or admissions experience

Experience working as part of a remote team

Personal experience with American summer programs

Cross-cultural / international experience
