Tutors for English Verbal Reasoning Skills, Math, Science Especially seeking a tutor who also brings expertise and experience in conservatory-level music (classical preferred, any instrument or vocal)
Overview
We are expanding our team of one‑on‑one online instructors for test prep, academic support, enrichment, and bespoke individualized courses. We work with a highly international student base and are seeking strong educators to support students in reaching their goals.
- This role is ideal for graduate students, PhD candidates, postdocs, and adjunct instructors who enjoy teaching and are curious about broader educational work on a remote, flexible basis. Over time, instructors can grow into curriculum development, mentorship, and operational roles.
Position Details
- 8-15 hours/week
- Flexible scheduling; some evening or weekend availability may be required
- Start date: Rolling

Preferred
- Experience teaching verbal or math skills for SAT, ACT, ISEE, or SSAT, and/or experience teaching Biology and/or Chemistry
- Ability also to tutor academic writing, economics, history, government, or other STEM subjects (e.g., physics, computer science)
- At least one of the final hires will have successful experience with all aspects (recording, resume, recommendation) of the “musical supplement” for university admissions
- At least one of the final hires will be able to coach students through composition and editing of an artistic portfolio (any media)
- At least one of the final hires will have been an athletic recruit and be able to coach students through the NCAA eligibility and recruitment process (any sport)
- Experience with academic mentorship of younger students
- Commitment to longer‑term collaboration (2+ years)
- Curiosity about expanding beyond tutoring role
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated online and/or one-on-one in-person teaching experience with evidence of student progress (ability to provide a reference speaking to results)
- One‑on‑one or online teaching experience
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Professionalism and ability to work independently
- Experience working with international or diverse student populations
- Consistent weekly availability
